BOYNE HILL U13s 24 - Whiteknights - 0

The U13s continued their strong start in Div 2 of the South Chiltern Minor League with a 24-0 demolition of a depleted Whiteknights FC. Going at it from the off, Daniel Hugill took it down the right wing and passed across to Ricky Roberts who set up Joe Maskrey to open the scoring again after just 1 minute with a firm low shot. Moments later defender Ben Hynard came running up for a corner and leapt above everyone to head the second home from a well struke ball in from Luke Irvine .

Connor Clark began his march towards a hat trick following a scramble in the box, putting Hill 3-0 up after just 5 minutes. A chip in from Irvine to Maskrey on the right to strike it firmly across the box into the left hand corner. Hill's fifth was a subtly lob of the keeper by Roberts after a solo run into the bo.x The first of several miss kicks by the keeper set Irvine up with a punishing chip back into the net, repeated again moments later to create that “Groundhog Day” sensation.

Callum Jenkins commanding performance on the left side was rewarded after twenty two minutes with a solo run down the left wing left everyone standing and requiring a simply but firm strike just out of the Keepers range to make eight. Josh Browne in goal was hardly required to do anything but then following a Whiteknights first push on goal made a low diving save to keep the visitors at bay. Browne's fast turn around of the ball sent Charlie Mees up the right to pass it through for Roberts to run on to and loft the ball above the Keeper into the back of the net. Roberts added to his run of goals following a long throw in from Paul Wilson required a cheeky side step to stroke it home. Just before the stroke of half time Ellis Gee had the strike of the half after taking it around Whiteknights defence and then sending a sweet curling ball into the top right corner for Hill twelve.

The second half continued in the same way as the first concluded, this time from a clever corner by Hugill passing short to Jenkins to cross in the box for Roberts to pick up with a powerful header into the net. Clark then added another following his first shoot rebounded off the Keeper kindly for him to have a second chance. Paul Wilson's goal followed swiftly when he run through on goal to firmly strike it high past the keeper. Clarks hat trick then followed after Maskrey slotted a pass through the back four for Clark to run onto and send it home.

Luke Irvin then really got into gear, turning on a coin on the edge of the Whiteknights box to power it across the line. An almost repeat run and loft from Roberts and double pounce by Irvine on Keeper miss kicks made it a real score i.e. 20-0.

Goal of the match came from a Roberts throw in was picked up by Irvine who passed it back to the edge of the box for Mark Johnson to run on to and strike it beautifully high into the left corner past the Keeper. Irvine's best strike of his mighty eight then came after he let rip 18yrds out with a shot nothing was going to stop. A simpler affair by Irvine required a knock in past a stranded keeper just two minutes later. The last of Hills 24 goals then came with a repeat solo run by Jenkins down the left passed the entire Whiteknights midfield and backs was wrapped up with a convincing low strike into the corner.

Despite the score line Whiteknights mounted a late attack, but were frustrated again by a goal saving dive by Josh Browne to keep a clean sheet for the match and the season to date.
