Hotshots Fin Palethorpe and Max Grant were on target as the Bullets scored their first win of the League campaign against Eagles-Windsor.
The Bullets thrilled their patient supporters with wave after wave of pressure before finally downing the Eagles with two well-taken second half goals.
"Brilliant, just brilliant," bubbled coach Roland Schilling as the delighted team celebrated around him. "It's great to get that first win under our belts.
"Everyone worked so hard, and I am sure seeing the ball in the back of the net will be a big boost for our confidence."
The under-strength Eagles had looked rocky from the start, with the Bullets forcing two early corners and Tom Schilling and Palethorpe both seeing shots go wide.
Palethorpe, full of bold running up front, saw another chance slip past the post after a great through ball from Luke Jons - one of many firm, intelligent passes that earned him the man of the match award.
The agonising deadlock continued into the second half with Palethorpe missing again after a throughball from George Clifton, who then blazed a shot of his own over the bar.
With a strong wind behind them the Bullets were camping out in the opponents' half, and clearly relishing the unusual experience in a season that had only delivered one goal in their favour.
Sacha Shadloo crashed another shot wide after a booming goalkick from Schilling - switched to keeper for the second half - and then the long-awaited goal came 12 minutes into the half.
Grant, always a menace with his strong running and sharp shooting, broke free and kept his head to calmly knock the ball home to start the party.
And a minute later another big kick from the back went straight through to the hard-working Palethorpe, who latched easily onto the ball and moved forward with pace before slotting in the second.
The Bullets just missed a third in the dying seconds when the Eagles' guest keeper Alexandra Parsons dived bravely at the feet of the marauding strike force to gather the ball.
